Service
The rules of engagement. By using the Uranus Lab platform or services, you agree to the protocols defined herein.
Account Registration
To use the Service Users may need to register or create a User account, providing all required data or information in a complete and truthful manner. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and safe. Users are also responsible for all activities that occur under their account.
Acceptable Use
Users are not allowed to: reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works based on this Application; copy, store, edit, change, prepare any derivative work of or alter in any way any of the content provided; use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape, or index any portion of this Application.
Terms of Sale
Some of the Products provided on this Application, as part of the Service, are provided on the basis of payment. The fees, duration and conditions for the accounts and paid Services are highlighted in the relevant section of this Application. Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Intellectual Property
Without prejudice to any more specific provision of these Terms, any intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, trademark rights, patent rights and design rights related to this Application are the exclusive property of the Owner or its licensors and are subject to the protection granted by applicable laws or international treaties relating to intellectual property.
Content Provided by Users
Users are responsible for their own content and that of third parties that they share through this Application, that they upload and post on or through this Application, or that they transfer by any other means. Users confirm that they have all the necessary consents from third parties whose data and/or content they share with the Owner.
Rights over Content
By submitting, posting or displaying the Content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content in any and all media or distribution methods.
Service Interruption
The Owner reserves the right to interrupt the Service for maintenance, system updates or any other changes, informing the Users appropriately. Within the limits of law, the Owner may also decide to suspend or terminate the Service altogether. If the Service is terminated, the Owner will cooperate with Users to enable them to withdraw Personal Data or information in accordance with applicable law.
Service Reselling
Users may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of this Application and of its Service without the Owner’s express prior written permission, granted either directly or through a legitimate reselling program.
External Resources
Through this Application Users may have access to external resources provided by third parties. Users acknowledge and accept that the Owner has no control over such resources and is therefore not responsible for their content and availability. Conditions applicable to any resources provided by third parties result from each such third parties’ Terms and Conditions.
Indemnification
The User agrees to indemnify and hold the Owner and its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, agents, co-branders, partners and employees harmless from and against any claim or demand — including but not limited to lawyer's fees and costs — made by any third party due to or in relation to any culpable use of or connection to the Service, violation of these Terms, infringement of any third-party rights or statutory provision.
Limitation of Liability
Unless otherwise explicitly stated and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Users acknowledge and agree that the Owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses.
System Logs
For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System logs) or use other Personal Data (such as the IP Address) for this purpose.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the law of the place where the Owner is based, as disclosed in the relevant section of this document, without regard to conflict of laws principles. The exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or controversy arises in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
Severability
Should any provision of these Terms be deemed or become invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
Changes to Terms
The Owner reserves the right to amend or otherwise modify these Terms at any time. In such cases, the Owner will appropriately inform the User of these changes. Such changes will only affect the relationship with the User for the future. The continued use of the Service will signify the User’s acceptance of the revised Terms.
Your Rights.
As a user of the Uranus Lab platform, you are entitled to specific rights regarding your usage, content, and account management.
Consumer Protection
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, warranty, term or condition, right or remedy implied or imposed by any applicable law which cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
